One of the most important jobs I have as your Member of Parliament is listening to you. That’s why on Saturday, July 16th, I will be hosting a Town Hall on the topics of climate change and the proposed expansion of the Trans Mountain pipeline.
- What: Town Hall on climate change and the proposed Trans Mountain pipeline expansion
- Who: Terry Beech, MP for Burnaby North-Seymour
- Where: Confederation Community Centre (4585 Albert Street, Burnaby)
- When: 1:00-3:00 pm, Saturday July 16th.
Please make sure to arrive early, as seating will be limited.
The town hall will be divided into two one-hour segments. The first hour will be a discussion on climate change, and the second hour will focus specifically on the proposed Trans Mountain pipeline expansion project.
A speaker sign-up sheet will be available when you arrive at the Town Hall and I encourage anyone with a question or comment to put their name on the list. The speaking order will be on a first-come first-serve basis, so please make sure to arrive early. In order to hear from as many people as possible, we will be limiting each speaker to a maximum of two minutes.
